More Info

This is the Hebrew rhyming book by Mirik Snir known in Hebrew as לאיבוד הלך לי זבוב, roughly 'My fly got lost', published by Hakibbutz Hameuchad in 2009.

A pesky fly keeps landing on a little boy: on his nose, on his hand, on his knee and in other places. Every time he tries to get rid of it, the fly comes back and the encounter takes a new turn. Told in bouncy, rhythmic rhyme full of humor, repetition, movement and sound, the book invites little listeners to join in with their voices and their bodies.

It is made for reading aloud and singing together with toddlers and young children who are just starting out with books. Mirik Snir has written more than 100 books for Israeli children.
