The present book is the second one in a series of books for English-speaking students desirous to learn the Arabic language thoroughly by a method which tends to overcome all apparent difficulties guiding the student gradually from the easiest to the more complicated rules.

This book introduces the ten different forms of the Arabic verb, their conjugations and use in the sentence. These Forms, however, are only of the ‘sound roots'. The verbs of the other roots will be fully dealt with in part Ill.
