Dr. Shaul Sapir has been teaching Historical Geography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem since 1975 and at the David Yellin Teachers’ College, Jerusalem, where he headed the Department of Geography for several years. On his sabbaticals he lectured at the University College, London. He has published numerous articles on a wide range of subjects, mainly focusing on Jerusalem through the Ages and on the Land of Israel during the Modern Era (Nineteen and Twenty Centuries). Dr. Sapir has degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Geography, Archaeology, and Education. He has also attended advanced University studies in History and Arts, and Architecture in Haifa’s Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
