Rabbi Neil N. Winkler received his BA in history and his MS in biblical studies from Yeshiva University, and his rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. A dynamic educator for over forty years, Rabbi Winkler serves as the coordinator of Tanach studies of Yeshivat Moriah, the Moriah School in Englewood, New Jersey, where he has taught since 1978. Throughout these same years he has also served as spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Fort Lee, New Jersey, and as officer and board member of numerous rabbinic organizations. As teacher and guide for students competing in the International Bible Contest, Rabbi Winkler has seen over thirty of his students win the national championships and compete internationally in Jerusalem, with a number achieving the title of Chattan/Kallat Hatefutzot, the Diaspora champion. Rabbi Winkler and his wife Andrea are the proud parents of five children and nine grandchildren.
