Dr. Dalit Rom-Shiloni is a Hebrew Bible scholar, Ph.D. of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, 2001. She teaches Hebrew Bible at the Department of Hebrew Culture Studies in Tel Aviv University, and the Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Jerusalem, and has served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Divinity School. Dr. Rom-Shiloni focuses her studies on Theology and Ideology of the sixth century BCE, and in this book she sets Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) theology as the fundamental methodology for the study of the ancient religious world of thought.
