MIRYAM SIVAN, originally from New York City, has lived for over twenty years in Israel. She holds a PhD in literature and teaches literature and writing at the University of Haifa. She has published a book-length study on Cynthia Ozick, Belonging Too Well: Portraits of Identity in Cynthia Ozick’s Fiction (SUNY, 2009). Sivan is also a fiction writer. Her books include SNAFU and Other Stories (Cuidono, 2014) and the novel Make It Concrete (Cuidono, 2019).
