Seth J. Frantzman was born in Maine and has been the Oped Editor and covered Middle East affairs for The Jerusalem Post since 2012. He earned a PhD from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and lectured in American Studies at Al-Quds University. He is the Executive Director of The Middle East Center for Reporting and Analysis and has covered conflict and current events throughout the Middle East with work appearing in The Spectator, The National Interest, The Hill, The Washington Times, Al-Jazeera, and other publications. He is married with children and lives in Jerusalem.
